Shops

Leyburn is the busiest of our two local towns (both towns, not villages…) and should have everything you need.  Middleham has some quaint antique shops and great pubs. In Leyburn, in and around the market place:

Co op – open early and late except Sunday

Campbells – fabulous Yorkshire supermarket and wine cellar

One Stop – Corner shop and off licence

Milners lovely clothes (in case the weather changes..!)

K Teas cake to die for – and lunch and tea too!

Posthorn – eat on the market place and watch the town go by

Hewsons – cards, newspapers, magazines, books (and chocolates…)

Wobbly Dog – lots of quirky things

Barclays Bank – money

Halls Butchers (best sausages!) (best bacon!) (in fact, just a fabulous butcher)

Antiques – always amazing (and often surprising) odds and ends

Tennants Auctioneers (great coffee shop and lots to look at.  The auctions are fun if your visit coincides)
